AZOO Plus Betta Cuisine

The Betta fish feed on the surface, slowly consuming a high-protein animal-based food with their tiny mouths. In fact, these fish feed in the wild on nutritious mosquito larvae and other small insects that land on the water’s surface.

For this reason, these fish cannot eat just any balanced food but require one specifically tailored to them.

The size, buoyancy, and palatability of Betta Pellets perfectly suit the feeding habits of Betta fish and other small labyrinth fish. AZOO Plus Betta Cuisine contains natural pigments that help enhance the typical coloration of these fish.

Fish are what they eat.

The natural biotopes where most fish live offer a wide spectrum of fresh food sources, especially in marine environments.

Furthermore, these environments are highly heterogeneous, with significant variations in their nutritional parameters in each case.

Seasonality also radically affects their diet, sometimes forming very radical periodic feeding cycles.

In addition, fish adapt to their environment by acquiring a varied morphology for capturing, ingesting, and digesting the type of food they consume, and their feeding patterns also vary depending on their developmental stage.

For this reason, along with water quality, the most important aspect of maintaining ornamental fish in captivity is feeding.

Likewise, achieving optimal growth rates, healthy development, and coloration, as well as promoting reproduction, present an even greater challenge.

AZOO successfully tackled this challenge by formulating a complete line of specific foods to meet all the nutritional needs of ornamental fish throughout their growth stages.

AZOO Plus Betta Cuisine: The key is variety.

AZOO’s food philosophy is to include all the nutritional requirements of a specific group of fish in a single food particle, ensuring the success of proper feeding.

The size, shape, hydration, or buoyancy of the food particles play a fundamental role in adapting to the feeding behavior and morphology of the fish, as these vary among different species and groups of fish.

Large mouths, small mouths, predators, grazers, surface feeders, bottom feeders, mid-water feeders, voracious eaters, slow eaters, or very demanding eaters are aspects that affect the specific format of AZOO food.

These aspects, combined with a formulation based on selected natural raw materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing and preservation methods, form the basis of the most advanced premium line of ornamental fish food on the market.
